Our online conference and training facility allows us to work directly with you over the internet in the comfort of your home or office.

This one-on-one tutorial is conducted via the internet utlising our state-of-the-art conferencing software.  This allows real time conversation (VOIP) and sharing of desktop and software views, as well as live broadcasting from our webcam. 

Course Content

During this course we will introduce you to the concept of transmittance in relation to infrared windows and infrared transmissive optics.  We will demonstrate the effect that optics have on transmittance, and how this will effect your thermal imagers performance. We will explore ways to measure and compensate for optics attenuation and show you how to deal with transmittance issues in the real world.

Note: This tutorial will not cover accurate non-contact temperature measurement. These skills are learned in the Level II Certified Infrared Thermography Course.

Training times are available Monday - Friday, between 9am and 5pm EASTERN STANDARD TIME.  Meeting times are made at a mutually convenient time, please indicate your availability and preference at checkout.

All thermographers, and for all makes and models of cameras. Our trainers have high level experience with the following makes of thermal imagers: FLIR, FLUKE, SAT, SDS, TROTEC, GUIDE IR, DALI, TESTO, NEC, MIKRON. If your brand is not listed here please enquire as many OEM's distribute under other names.

Pre-requisite:

1. Broadband Internet Connection,
2. USB headset with microphone for desktop PC's (most Laptops have built in microphone and speaker),
3. Webcam optional. 
4. Please note, this is not a substitute for proper level 1 & 2 training, but should supplement the skills already learned in these courses.
